Literacy Assessment

Our literacy assessment provides a complete, research-informed picture of your child’s reading, writing, and spelling development. We use a variety of diagnostic tools to get a clearer picture of your child’s strengths, weaknesses, and possible areas of concern. These assessments can be helpful for families who:

• Have persistent concerns about reading, spelling, or writing despite classroom instruction

• Suspect dyslexia or another language-based learning difference

• See signs of frustration, avoidance, or low confidence around literacy tasks

• Want a clearer picture before committing to tutoring or intervention

Each consultation includes:

• Detailed Assessment of your student’s strengths and weaknesses in foundational literacy skills such as phonological awareness, decoding, encoding, and reading fluency.

• A Comprehensive Written Action Plan with key takeaways, resource links, and professional recommendations.

• A 30-minute Zoom or Phone Meeting to review the plan and answer your questions.

Initial Assessment & Consultation- $180

Follow-Up Consult: $35/half-hour Zoom or Phone Meeting
