Katie Meeks is an Academic Therapist trained through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center in the Sounds in Syllables (SIS) Multisensory Language Therapy Approach. She maintains a private practice serving students of all ages. ​

She began her career teaching in the local public school system, eventually transitioning out of the classroom to pursue her dream of homeschooling her own children. Throughout her career, Katie has worked with a multitude of learners in various educational settings,with a track record of success helping students achieve academically.

She provides students with a comprehensive, individualized learning experience that addresses their needs, ensuring that each student overcomes challenges and builds the skills and confidence necessary for long-term academic success.

Katie believes that all children and adults can experience success as readers and writers when they are taught using research based methods and techniques appropriate for their learning styles.
